Episode 6- Art from the Mesoamerican Perspective

Hello beautiful community!

We want to thank you to all who joined us last week. It was an honor and pleasure to get to connect with you all once again or for the first time!

We had a deeply moving conversation with Julia and Enrique who each talked about their experiences as artists in Guatemala. Their presentations were truly inspirational and the conversation that followed was grounding to all of us as listeners and participants.

We want to give each of them a huge thank you for taking the time and effort to meet with us. It was an honor to be able to hear from you both.

2.) We are searching for funding opportunities!
As the fall approaches and our in-person workshops approach us, we want to apply for funding to support Ramona, the head chef at La RED and president of DESGUA, as she travels throughout the United States doing in-person cooking classes. Please inform us if you know of any opportunities we can apply to.

3.) Our fundraiser is still active!
We have several plans we'd like to carry out this year, but we need some funds to get these to take off. Please consider donating at the link below!

We want to feature our community on our website that we are currently developing and on our Instagram page! Our idea is to share a few photos and some testimony for our online audience to read and for us to get to know each other.
